Florida Real Estate Tutor

A tutor; that is what we all need.  We need someone to take us by the hand, one on one, and teach us what we need to need to know to start making money in Florida real estate.

Ron Climer .Florida Real Estate Instructor
Where can you find such a tutor?  To answer that question, you need to ask yourself a question,"Why do I want to learn this?  Why do I want to learn to make money in real estate?"  The answer is obvious, to make money.  Does it make sense that the tutor you are looking for would love to teach you?  Why?

If you could think of a way to compensate someone that knows to teach you, you would have no problem  learning what you need to know.

How can you compensate your teacher?  The most obvious way to compensate your teacher is to pay tuition or a similar fee in advance.  What is wrong with that?  The problem with that is you may pay your money and not get your money's worth.  The reverse of that is the teacher teaches you and you pay him when you lessons bear economic fruit.  The trouble with that is that the teacher's teaching will only bear fruit if the student does what the teacher teaches him to do.  Only the student has control of that.

The student does not know if the teacher can teach and the teacher does not know if the student will learn and implement the lessons.  If you want to learn how to sell real estate or anything else, find someone that knows  what you want to learn.  Devise a way for that person to be compensated for teaching you.  Your career will start faster.                 www.climerrealestateschool.com

The Best Online Real Estate Course in Florida

The best online real estate course in Florida is in Florida.  What would be the odds that a real estate school in Orlando, Florida could have the best real estate course in California?  I think the odds are pretty slim.  Do you agree?

What are the odds that a real estate school in New Jersey or California has the best online real estate course in Florida?  I think those odds are equally slim.  The best online real estate course to get your Florida real estate license is from a Florida real estate school.

I know this for certain.  No matter where you take your online real estate course to get your Florida real estate license, you should watch "Climer School's" twelve real estate math videos on You Tube.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO8Nq_eny0w    There are twelve of these real estate math videos on math.  This is the math that is on the Florida real estate exam.  If you go to You Tube, search for "Climer School" (that is our user name), there is a
playlist of the twelve math videos.  If you are soon taking the Florida real estate exam, watch these videos.  If you are reading this article because you have just decided to get a Florida real estate license, you will have to pass the Florida real estate exam.  This is the math that is on the Florida exam.

Many people applying for a Florida real estate license do not realize that the Florida real estate exam has a fifty fifty pass ratio for first time takers and even worse for repeat takers. http://ronclimer.hubpages.com/hub/The-Florida-Real-Estate-Exam-Pass-Fail-Rate-For-July-2012

Why is this true?  Part of the problem is people choosing their real estate school based on price.  Do a little research before you choose your basic real estate course.  Google "real estate school in your city".  Read the school's Google reviews.  Call a couple of real estate offices.  Ask to speak to the new real estate associate.  Ask him.

Climer School of Real Estate teaches on line real estate courses and live in the classroom classes.  Check us out at www.climerrealestateschool.com                           www.floridarealestateexam.net

Florida Real Estate Exam, Why Did I Fail?

Kathy received a phone call yesterday from a former student.  He told Kathy that he graduated from Climer School of Real Estate  two months ago.  He has failed the Florida real estate exam four times.  He wanted Kathy's advice.

Kathy asked him what was his grade on the school test.  He told her that he barely passed with a 73%.  Kathy asked if he had done the one hundred question practice test in the back of the basic textbook.  He said that he had not.  Kathy asked if he had taken the one hundred question practice exam our website, www.climerrealestateschool.com   He said he had not taken that free test.  Kathy asked him if he had bought Linda Crawford's "Exam Manual for Sales Associates", the best study aid available to study for the Florida real estate exam.  He said he had not bought this book.  Every time you take the Florida real estate exam, it costs $31.50.  The Florida real estate test has a fifty fifty pass rate for first time test takers and a 32% pass rate for repeat takers.  http://ronclimer.hubpages.com/hub/The-Florida-Real-Estate-Exam-Pass-Fail-Rate-For-July-2012

Kathy asked him if he had attended our two day intensive Florida real estate exam review.  He said he did not have time.  Kathy asked him if he had bought our our audio CD version of that and listened to it in the car.  He said he did not have these audio CDs .  Kathy asked him if he had made five hundred flash cards with questions on one side and answers on the other side.  He said he had not done that either.

Kathy asked him if he had invited his classmates to get together and study.  He said he had not done that either.  Kathy asked him if he had watched the twelve free real estate math videos that Climer School of Real Estate has posted on You Tube.  He said he had watched one of the videos.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvjBlpgUpFE   Kathy asked him how many math questions did he get right on the Florida real estate exam.  He said that the best he had done was five out of ten.  There are ten real estate math questions on the Florida real estate exam.  It is a lot easier to pass if you get all of the math questions right.  All of the math is explained on these twelve videos.

Kathy asked him if he had read the "Candidate's Handbook".  This booklet has an outline of what is on the Florida real estate exam.  It also has a lot of tips about passing the exam.  One of these tips is letting our foreign language speaking test candidates take a dictionary with them to the Florida real estate exam.  Our caller told Kathy that he had not read the "Candidate's Handbook".  Kathy sent him a free copy.  If you are soon taking the Florida real estate exam, Kathy will happily send you a free copy.  Contact Kathy at 407 822 3926

Kathy ask him if he brought the chocolate candy for the Pearson Vue clerk so she would give him the easy test.  He said he did not.

Kathy asked him,"Do you want my advice or do you want to try again at $31.50 per try?".  He told her that he wanted her advice.

She told him to:   Read the textbook cover to cover
Answer the 400 questions in the "Exam Manual"
Pass the free 100 question test in the back of the textbook.
Pass the free 100 question test at Climer School's website.
Make 500 flash cards out of 3x5 cards.
Watch all twelve free real estate math videos on You Tube.  There is a playlist.
Listen to Ron Climer's review audio CD review class.
                               Read the "Candidate's Handbook"
Take candy and a smile to the Pearson Vue clerk.
Take your real estate school certificate with you every time you go to the exam.

Florida Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Ratio For May 2014

The Florida Real Estate Commission released the pass fail ratios for the Florida real estate exam for May of 2014.  In May of 2014, Two thousand, five hundred and  fifty nine real estate license applicants attempted the Florida real estate exam for the first time  to get their Florida real estate sales associate license. One thousand, two hundred and ninety passed.  They were happy.  One thousand, two hundred and sixty nine failed.  They were sad.  They all paid $31.50 for the experience. That is very close to a fifty fifty pass ratio.

Florida Real Estate Exam Pass Ratio for May, 2014
If you intend to pass the Florida real estate exam, you need to be studying.  Why is the pass rate for the Florida real estate exam so dismal?  I don't think most real estate instructors at Florida real estate schools tell their students how tough the Florida real estate exam is.

I have lots of students that attend my two day state exam prep course.  Many people call this the "cram course".  Many students that attend this course did not take their basic real estate course from us.  They took their basic course from a competitive real estate school.  Most of them tell me that their real estate instructor did not tell them that the Florida real estate exam was tough.

I tell my students that the state exam is tough.  I have the pass fail result sheets from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation posted right on the wall of our real estate classroom.  I want my students to know that the Florida real estate exam is no picnic.

I tell my students that ten percent of the Florida real estate exam is math.  I advise them to watch my free real estate math videos on You Tube.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO8Nq_eny0w

I advise my students to study for the Florida real estate exam from Linda Crawford's "Exam Manual for Real Estate Sales Associates"  This is unquestionably the best study aid available for studying for the Florida real estate exam.

I advise my foreign language speaking students to take a foreign language  dictionary with them to the Florida real estate exam.  Many foreign language speaking students show up at my two day review and tell me they have never heard this from their instructor.

Many students tell me they have never read the "Candidate's Handbook".  This is a little booklet that tells you what is on the exam.  It has a bunch of tips for passing the Florida real estate exam.  If you don't have the "Candidate's Handbook", contact Kathy at www.climerrealestateschool.com Kathy will send you a handbook for free.

I encourage mt students to make flashcards.  This is a great study aid to study for the Florida real estate exam.  Take 3x5 cards and write, "What kind of mortgage has partial release clauses?" on one side of the card and write,"Blanket mortgage" on the other side.  Play with these cards while sitting at red lights and other activities.  Use them with your classmates.  Flashcards are a fabulous study aid for the Florida real estate test.

You would think that repeat test takers would do better than first time test takers.  The facts do not bear that out.  In May, 2499 applicants took the Florida real estate exam for the second or third or fourth or fifth time.  802 passed. 1697 failed.  That is a 32% pass rate.  They all paid $31.50 every time they took the Florida real estate exam.  I think your best bet is to pass the Florida real estate exam the first time you take it.  If we can help you pass the Florida real estate test,  please call us at 407 822 3926

Florida Real Estate Exam, I Know I Am Doing Some Good

When I teach my Florida real estate exam review class, over half the students are not my students.  They took their basic Principles and Practice of Real Estate class at some other real estate school.  Some took their course from another local real estate school.  Some took their real estate course online from a real estate school in another state.

Many of these students have taken their Florida real estate exam many times.  Their problem is that they are studying the wrong stuff.  You have to study what is on the Florida real estate exam.

I am positive that what I am teaching is what is on the Florida real estate exam.  Why am I so certain?  I teach these "cram courses" two times a month.  I have an opportunity to meet with people that have taken the Florida real estate exam recently.  Often recently means yesterday.  These classes are as much a debriefing for me as it is a learning experience for the students.

I know I am doing the students a lot of good.  They tell me during the breaks that much of what I am teaching they have never heard before.  They tell me this.

If you are studying the wrong material, you can memorize your study material and this will do you no good.  You must be studying what is on the Florida real estate test.

If you are soon taking the Florida real estate exam, a good place to start is to watch the twelve real estate math videos that I have on You Tube.  The Florida real estate exam is ten per cent math.  All the math that you need to know is on these twelve videos.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZb_k4kq9h0&list=PLTlWnUQfSQrsQkjcqD2qtf59of7sPHA6v  If you have already taken the Florida real estate exam, you will recognize some of these math problems that are on these videos.   If you are soon to take the Florida real estate exam for the first time, take my word for it.  The math on my free videos is the math that is on the state exam.  Watch all twelve of these videos.  It costs $31.50 every time you take the Florida  real estate exam.                                                         www.climerrealestateschool.com

Florida Video Online Real Estate Course

People ask us if we have a video real estate class.  Yes, we do.  We have our Florida real estate exam review class on video.  You can watch it online or we have it on DVD.

If you are struggling to pass the Florida real estate exam, check this out at www.climerrealestateschool.com .  The pass rate for the Florida real estate exam is fifty fifty.  Only half the applicants that pay $31.50 to take this difficult test, pass.  Repeat takers do worse than that.  http://ronclimer.blogspot.com/2013/08/florida-real-estate-exam-pass-fail.html  Here is the details on that if you want it.

At Climer School of Real Estate, we do lots of things to help our students pass the Florida real estate exam the first time.  We want our students to be in the upper half.

The first thing we do is to teach our basic course ( online or in classroom) with material that we know is on the Florida real estate exam.  Many people take their basic course from a national real estate school that specializes in all fifty states.  They learn a bunch of stuff that they don't need to know. They learn things that are not on the Florida real estate exam.  There is no national test in Florida.  There is only the Florida real estate exam.

The second thing we do to help people pass the Florida real estate exam is we have posted twelve free real estate math videos on You Tube.  If you are taking the Florida real estate exam soon, check these out at You Tube.  Our user name is Climer School.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtflncxZjOo   Watch all twelve of these videos if you need help with your real estate test.  There is no math on the Florida real estate exam that is not covered in these videos.

We also have a free practice test on our website for folks that are soon taking the Florida real estate exam.  If you are wondering if you are ready, take this test.  If you don't pass mine, you need to keep studying.

If you need to start the process to get your Florida real estate license, call Kathy at 407 822 3926 .  She will show you what to do.

Florida Real Estate Exam, Do Not Underestimate This Test

If you have read any of my previous articles about the pass fail ratio for the Florida real estate exam, you know the Florida real estate exam is not easy.  http://www.floridarealestateexam.net/about.html  If you have not read any of my previous articles , here is one .  Read this.

I think the sixty per cent of first time test takers that did not pass the first time and the seventy per cent of repeat test takers that did not pass on a repeat attempt underestimated this very difficult test.  Don't you underestimate it.

Why do people underestimate the Florida real estate exam?  If half the people that are attempting it are failing and half are passing, I would presume it is a tough test.  I think most real estate students don't realize that when they first select a real estate school and start their quest to get a Florida real estate license.  Many people choose their real estate school based on the school's proximity to their home.  Some people choose their real estate school based on price.

The best way to select a real estate school is to ask around.  Ask several Realtors where the best school is.  Look on the internet for Google reviews and Yahoo.reviews.  https://plus.google.com/104178637087080911816/about?gl=US&hl=en-US  Check on You Tube.  See if the real estate school has the instructor teaching something like all the math that is on the Florida real estate exam.  Don't be so concerned with the school.  Be concerned with the instructor.   This is important. I know most people don't check out the school because they don't know how tough the Florida real estate exam is.

Once people figure out that the Florida real estate exam is not easy, they start looking for help.  For many people that is after they failed the exam one time.  Climer School of Real Estate has twelve free real estate math videos on You Tube to help you pass the Florida real estate exam.  Watch these videos.  Climer School of Real Estate also has a free practice test on our website at www.climerrealestateschool.com .  Take  this practice test.  It is free.  If you pass this, you are ready.  If you don't, keep studying.  It costs $31.50 to fail the Florida real estate exam every time you take it.

Do not underestimate the Florida real estate exam.

The Florida Real Estate Exam, Analyzing The Questions Correctly

Many people tell me that all four of the choices for the questions on the Florida real estate exam seem correct or all four choices seem incorrect.  You need to learn to analyze the question choices on the Florida real estate exam.  Is the choice true or false.

A student called me yesterday to ask about a question that he encountered on the Florida real estate exam.  The question was about the fair housing act.  When students explain questions to me, I never know if they have the question right or close to right.  The student tells me that the question states," Mr. Real Estate Agent shows a house to an African American prospect in an African American neighborhood in central Florida. The prospect asks a question.   The real estate agent  can assume...........? "

     A. The prospect wants to be in an African American neighborhood.
     B. The prospect does not want to be in a African American neighborhood.
     C. The prospect is concerned about the ethnicity of the neighborhood.
     D.  The prospect likes the architectural style of the house.

It is important that you read the Florida real estate exam question carefully.  It is important that you understand the question.  The question is:  what can the real estate agent assume?  The exam question stated that the prospect asked a question.  We don't know what that question was.   Our question is what can the salesman assume.

     A. If the real estate salesman assumes that the prospect wants to be in an African American neighborhood, he is steering.  This is a violation of the Fair Housing Act. This choice is wrong.
     B.  If the real estate agent assumes that the prospect does not want to be in an African American neighborhood, he is steering.  This is a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1968.  This choice is wrong.
     C.  If the real estate salesman assumes the prospect is concerned about the ethnicity of the neighborhood, he is steering.  This is a violation of Fair Housing Act.  This choice is wrong.
     D. It would be OK for the real estate salesman to assume that the prospect likes the architectural style of the house.  This is not a violation of any law.  This is the best answer.

As we read this and other questions we wish we could ask questions like," What did the prospect ask?".  We wish we could but we can't.  A smart test taker will not add or subtract to the questions on the Florida real estate exam.  Everything on the Florida real estate exam depends on the choices.  You can't write in an answer.  You have to go with the choices. It is not like one answer is dead right and three are dead wrong.  Which is the best answer?

As you read the question, make sure you understand the question.  Carefully read the choices and ask yourself,"Is this choice true or false?".  If it is false, it can not be the right answer.

The more you know, the easier it is to discern the wrong answers.  If you would like to practice before you go spend $31.50 taking your Florida real Estate exam at Pearson Vue in central Florida, take the practice test on my website at www.climerrealestateschool.com .  This is free, easy, effective and painless.  If you are taking the Florida real estate exam soon, why would you pass on this.  If you are taking the Florida real estate exam for the second time, be sure to know all the stuff that is on that sheet Pearson Vue gave you about frequently  missed questions.  If you are taking the Florida real estate exam soon, watch all eleven of my free real estate math videos on You Tube.  My user name is Climer School.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-J6kid1FTs&feature=c4-overview&list=UUyBcLU3Ccx-ZxAyemcXWd1w   A lady called me recently and told me she had failed the Florida real estate exam three times.  She made a 73,72, and a 74.  The best she had done was on the math was six out of ten.  She said she watched my free math videos.  She said she only watched the ones if the problems I was teaching looked familiar from the Florida real estate exam.  The link above is
a new problem on the new Florida real estate exam.

If we can do anything to help you pass your Florida real estate exam, call Kathy at 407 822 3926.  While you have Kathy on the line ask her to send you the free Florida Real Estate Handbook.  This book has a breakdown of what is on the Florida real estate exam.

I Wish I Had Found Your Real Estate School First

When I answer the phone at Climer School of Real Estate, I hear this a lot.  I talk to people that are trying to pass the Florida real estate exam.  They say to me,"I wish I had found you first"  What they did find was an online real estate school that is in another state and specializes in all fifty states.  They have learned a lot of stuff.  It just isn't the stuff that is on the Florida real estate exam.
At Climer School of Real Estate, I teach exactly what is on the Florida real estate exam.  I don't teach anything except what is on the Florida real estate exam.  If you want to learn about short sales or how to earn money investing in rental property, my class is not for you.  If you want to learn what is on the Florida real estate exam, there is no better place to learn it than my class.

You have to take FREC course one somewhere.  Take it from me.  This is all you need to pass the Florida real estate exam.  How do I know this is true?  I have had hundreds of students leave my FREC 1 class and go pass the Florida real estate exam.  Here is one of those students on this video.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQkyITKFtrc

Usually, when I meet people telling me that they wish they met me sooner, it is people that took their FREC 1 course somewhere else and now they are looking for help to pass the Florida real estate exam.

When they start looking for help with the Florida real estate exam, they find my real estate math videos on You Tube.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-J6kid1FTs&feature=c4-overview&list=UUyBcLU3Ccx-ZxAyemcXWd1w  The videos are free.  The real estate math problems on the videos are on the Florida real estate exam.  There are eleven free videos.  If you are taking the state exam soon, watch them all.

After watching the videos, many people call Kathy at 407 822 3926 and ask her about the Exam Manual.  This book is the best study aid available for passing  the Florida real estate exam.  This book was written by Linda Crawford.  Linda is a real estate instructor at the University of Florida.  When you fail the Florida real estate exam, they give you a breakdown of what is on the exam.  It looks a lot like the table of contents in the exam manual.

If you want to pass the Florida real estate exam, you have to study Florida stuff.  If you find us first, we will teach you what is on the Florida real estate exam. Contact us at www.climerrealestateschool.com

The Florida Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Results For May 2013

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation released the pass fail results for the month of May 2013 yesterday. One thousand eight hundred and seventy five applicants paid $31.50 to attempt the Florida real estate sales associates exam for the first time in May.   Seven hundred and ninety passed.  One thousand and eighty five were shocked and dismayed to discover that they had failed.

I say shocked and dismayed because many students do not know that the pass rate for the Florida real estate exam has always been pretty bleak.  Forty two per cent pass rate is certainly bleak.  That is better than the 27% pass rate in April of 2013.

You would think that the two thousand two hundred and twenty five retakers would do better.  This is not the case.  Seven hundred and sixteen of these folks were happy.  One thousand five hundred and nine were disappointed again.  That is 32% pass rate for the retakers.  All of these people paid $31.50 to Pearson Vue to attempt the Florida real estate exam.

Florida real estate broker applicants did a little better.  Their pass rate for first time takers was 59% and 35% for retakers.

Why is the pass rate for the Florida real estate exam so dismal?  There are several reasons but they all boil down to the student is unprepared.

Many real estate school instructors don't tell their students that the Florida real estate exam is tough.  The teacher knows what is on his exam.  He teaches his students to pass his exam.  The students passes that exam at the real estate school.  He makes a pretty good grade.  He thinks he is ready.  WHAM! The student takes the Florida real estate exam.  He thinks he has been run over by a train when he leaves the Pearson Vue test center with a 52% grade on his Florida real estate exam.

Another problem is that students are studying the wrong material.  If a student took their basic FREC 1 course from an online real estate school from some other state, who knows what they are learning?  Any one that took their basic course from a real estate school in another state is at an extreme disadvantage.  That student needs to learn what is on the Florida real estate exam.

One of the easiest, least expensive ways to do that is to buy Linda Crawford's "Exam Manual".  At Climer School of Real Estate, we use this book to teach our two day Florida real estate exam review course.

If you have taken the Florida real estate test once and were not even close to passing, this two day class would certainly be some time well spent for you.  In this class, I teach everything that you need to know to pass the Florida real estate exam.  We use Linda Crawford's "Exam Manual" in this class.

Many people want to attend this class but can not schedule the time.  We understand that at Climer School of Real Estate.  We put the entire course on audio CDs.  If you would like to attend this class, call Kathy at 407 822 3926.  If you want to learn what is on the Florida real estate exam, there is  no better way to learn this.

If you want to know if you are ready for the Florida real estate exam. go to my website and take the one hundred question practice test that I have there.  Our website is www.climerrealestateschool.com . If you don't pass this test, you are not ready for the BIG one.  Ours is free.  The Florida real estate exam costs $31.50 per try.

Another thing we have done to help you pass the Florida real estate exam is we have put ten real estate math videos on You Tube.  This is free.  It is easy.  Our user name is Climer School.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtflncxZjOo  Watch all ten of the videos.  It is very difficult to pass the Florida real estate exam if you are not getting all ten of the math questions right. I can not understand why anyone would go "try" the Florida real estate exam without watching all ten of these videos.  If you don't know how to compute deed stamps or compute per cent of profit or compute interest, you better be learning before you pay your $31.50.  Why would you go pay your money if you don't know how to do the three lot question or the storage bin problem?  They are all there on You Tube.

A big problem that many people have before their first attempt is underestimating the Florida real estate exam.  After you have failed it once, there is no excuse for underestimating this test.

You better be studying.  You better be studying the right stuff.  If you are still studying what is on the California test, change direction.  If Climer School of Real Estate can help you pass the next time, call us at 407 822 3926 or www.climerrealestateschool.com .
