The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and Pearson Vue have released the Pass-Fail Performance Numbers for the September and October 2020 Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License and Broker License State Exams.

By the way, If you are ready to get your Brokers License, The Climer School of Real Estate is starting a Brokers Pre-License Class December 7th, 2020. It is well known that this is the best Brokers License Class in Florida. Climer School Broker Pre-License Class students pass their state exam at a remarkably high rate.

Exam Performance Summary

The DBPR has had some issues with their website for quite a few weeks. A lot of you experienced the various glitches associated with this. I finally emailed the Bureau of Education and Testing Division and asked to be sent the September and October 2020 Real Estate Monthly Exam Performance Summaries. They just came in.

However, for most Florida Real Estate license exam takers the news is still not good. The Passing rates are still too low, and the Failure rates are still too high.

I still believe that the state exam question writers are more interested in tricking test takers into a coming up with a wrong answer than they are in actually testing what they know.

If it were up to me, this would change. But it is not up to me so I cannot. I continue to work with what they give me. However, this is the main reason why the Climer School of Real Estate is so much better than all the other real estate schools in the state of Florida. We are the only Real Estate school and class in Florida that teaches our students how to beat the state exam at its own game, not just to be an expert on the information in the book.

 

Florida Sales Associate License State Exam Performance Summary

In September and October of 2020, 8,032 individuals took the Florida Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 3,884 of them passed while 4,148 of them failed.

This is a passing rate of 48% and a failing rate of 52%.

7,536 people took the same Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 2,349 of them passed while 4,827 of them failed.

This is a pass rate of 31% and a fail rate of 69%. Horrible as usual.

In September and October of 2020, Pearson Vue continued to conduct state exam testing on testers home computers. It is called Online Proctoring. Pearson Vue released separate testing numbers for the ‘Test Center’ results and the separate ‘Online Proctored’ results.

 

 

4,081 individuals took the Test Center Florida Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 2.004 of them passed while 2,077 of them failed.

This is a passing rate of 49% and a failing rate of 51%.

4,549 people took the same Test Center Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 1,407 of them passed while 3,142 of them failed.

This is a pass rate of 31% and a fail rate of 69%. Bad as usual.

 

 

 

3,951 individuals took the Online Proctored Florida Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 1,880 of them passed while 2,071 of them failed.

This is a passing rate of 47% and a failing rate of 53%.

2,627 people took the same Online Proctored Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 942 of them passed while 1,685 of them failed.

This is a pass rate of 36% and a fail rate of 64%. Same as usual.

 

Broker’s License Exam Performance Summary

Let’s see how the Broker’s License test takers did. In September and October 2020, 645 hopefuls took the Florida broker’s license state test for the first time. Of this number, 339 of them passed and 306 of them failed.

This is a passing rate of 52% and a failing rate of 48%.

522 people took the Florida broker’s license state exam for a second or for a repeated time. Only 187 of them passed while 335 of them failed.

This is a pass rate of 36% and a fail rate of 64%.

In September and October of 2020, Pearson Vue conducted state exam testing on testers home computers. It is called Online Proctoring. As such, Pearson Vue released separate testing numbers for the ‘Test Center’ results and the separate ‘Online Proctored’ results.

327 individuals took the Test Center Florida Broker Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 185 of them passed while 142 of them failed.

This is a passing rate of 57% and a failing rate of 43%.

300 people took the same Test Center Broker Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 97 of them passed while 203 of them failed.

This is a pass rate of 32% and a fail rate of 68%. Same as usual.

222 individuals took the Online Proctored Florida Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 90 of them passed while 132 of them failed.

This is a passing rate of 40% and a failing rate of 60%.

46 people took the same Online Proctored Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 15 of them passed while 31 of them failed.

This is a pass rate of 33% and a fail rate of 67%. Same as usual.

 

You have almost too many choices. You should strongly consider attending our real estate school. We hope that the message is getting through. If you want to begin your real estate career, you need a Florida Real Estate License. This means that you must pass a difficult and tricky real estate license state exam. Unfortunately for many Real Estate license test takers the news is bad again. The Passing rates are still low, and the Failure rates are still high. Oddly enough, even during the COVID-19 Quarantine Super Low Numbers Shutdown Month of June, the percentages remained the same.


These numbers just prove my belief that the state exam question writers are working harder at tricking you into a wrong answer and in failing test takers than they are in testing your knowledge.


If I could change this, I would. Since I cannot, I work with what they give me. This is why the Climer School of Real Estate is so much better than all the other real estate schools in the state of Florida. May 2020 Exam Performance Summary

In May of 2020 1,244 individuals took the Florida Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 788 of them passed while 456 of them failed.


This is a passing rate of 63% and a failing rate of 37%.
Only 551 took the same Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 175 of them passed while 376 of them failed.


This is a pass rate of 32% and a fail rate of 68%. Same as usual - terrible.

May 2020 Brokers License Exam Performance Summary

Brokers applicants did not do much better. In May 2020, 141 took the Florida broker’s license state test for the first time. Of this number, 88 of them passed and 54 of them failed.


This is a passing rate of 69% and a failing rate of 31%.
57 people took the Florida broker’s license state exam for a second or for a repeated time.

Only 23 of them passed while 56 of them failed.
This is a pass rate of 38% and a fail rate of 34%.

June 2020 Sales Associate License Exam Performance Summary

June 2020 Exam Performance Summary

In June of 2020, 1,646 individuals took the Florida Real Estate exam for the first time. Of this number, only 1,015 of them passed while 631 of them failed.


This is a passing rate of 62% and a failing rate of 38%.


1,090 took the same Real Estate test for a second or for a repeated time. Only 436 of them passed while 654 of them failed.


This is a pass rate of 40% and a fail rate of 60%.

June 2020 Brokers License Exam Performance Summary

In June 2020, 161 managed to take the Florida broker’s license state test for the first time. Of this number, 105 of them passed and 56 of them failed.


This is a passing rate of 65% and a failing rate of 35%.
109 people took the Florida broker’s license state exam for a second or for a repeated time. 44 of them passed and 65 of them failed.


This is a passing rate of 40% and a failing rate of 60%.

We have our first Classroom class since March at The Climer School of Real Estate, Monday, May 18th.

The Climer School of Real Estate is Open again, Post COVID-19 Shut Down

We have gone to great lengths to be careful regarding the coronavirus and the safety of our staff, our instructor, and our students. We are only registering at half our class set up capacity.


The most that we register for our Pre-License classes in our main classroom is 64. This number is much less than the Fire Marshall declared was the maximum capacity of the room.


We are not going with half the Fire Marshall’s number; we are going with half of our number. As such, 32 will be the maximum number of students allowed.


We ask that everyone wear a mask. We will be providing masks and gloves. Our staff will be wiping down all surfaces at the end of the day with Clorox spray and wipes. The students will be arranged in a staggered seating setting to maximize social distancing between themselves and the instructor. They will not be allowed to move their seats.


Hand sanitizers will be everywhere. If you think of something else that we could be doing, please let us know.


You can still sign up for our 2-week sales associate Real Estate Class starting Monday, May 18th at our Orlando main campus location. This is an immensely popular schedule. Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 3 PM.


We are registering for our 1-week sales associate Real Estate Class at our Orlando Main Campus also starting June 1st. Andy Brown, the 2019 National Real Estate Educator of the year, will be the instructor for this Class.


We have another one of our wildly popular 8-week, night Class beginning Tuesday, May 26th. These Classes are Tuesdays and Thursday nights and they run from 6 PM to 10 PM. 


We have another two-week Real Estate Class that we are registering beginning June 8th at our Orlando main campus location.


We have a Spanish-language two-week Real Estate Class also beginning July 20th, also at our Orlando main campus location, from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday through Friday.


We are not quite ready to begin scheduling and registering Real Estate classes at our satellite branch locations. We still feel that it is more prudent and safer to wait a little bit longer.


We also have plenty of our famous 2-day Weekend State Exam Review Classes coming up. The next one is Saturday and Sunday, May 30th and 31st. These are open to any student from any other school in Florida!

Toastmasters International is almost 100 years old

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit organization that develops leadership skills and self-confidence through helping individuals become more confident has speakers. At the moment, Toastmasters has approximately 360,000 members in almost 17,000 local clubs in almost 150 countries.

I am a Toastmaster. I directly attribute my success in real estate education to my years in Toastmasters and the help and mentorship that I received from my fellow Toastmasters. This is one of the main reasons why The Climer School of Real Estate has become the best Real Estate School in Florida.

 Toastmasters was founded by a young man named Ralph C Smedley on March 24, 1905. These meetings were very beneficial and was held at the YMCA in Bloomington, Illinois. Mr. Smedley moved to Santa Ana California in 1922 and created the official Toastmasters. The first official Toastmasters International meeting of the club number one it is credited on October 22, 1924. Check out its 90 year history

 I also believe that every single real estate agent should join a Toastmasters club and practice their public speaking skills. My students know that is my strong belief that no one anywhere can never be as successful as possible that they cannot move people with their words. It doesn’t matter if it’s in business, government, civic, church, or anything. You have to be able to move people with your words to rise to the highest level of success possible.

 Public speaking isn’t necessarily standing on the stage and speaking to a crowd of thousand people. When you’re in real estate, every listing presentation in every conversation with a potential buyer prospect is a form of public speaking. You can always get better, and you should.


 There are around 100 clubs in Central Florida. They meet at various times of the day, every day of the week. Fortunately for Central Florida real estate agents, the Orlando Regional Realtors® Association (ORRA) hosted his own Toastmasters group that is open to everyone. The name of the club is Leaders In Communication.

 This suggestion is double and triple for those of you who are terrified of public speaking but a little voice inside is telling you, “you need to do this, and you know it.”


 There is a reason why this little voice is speaking to you. Just do it! Survey after survey, study after study, the number one fear in adults continues to be the fear of public speaking. The number two fear in adults continues to be the fear of dying.


 We have a joke in Toastmasters. “Most people would rather be in the casket than on the stage delivering the eulogy.” It’s funny because it’s true.


 By the way, it’s not enough just to not be afraid to speak in front of people. You have to be effective at speaking from the people as well.


 When you join Leaders In Communication and start getting some experience and practice at this art, you are going to be better than 90% of your peers and competitors. Because they are not doing this even though they need to.

 Not to mention you will love the people in the organization. Individuals don’t stay in Toastmasters for 10 or 15 or 20 years or more because of the thought of being able to deliver another speech. It is because of the individuals. Toastmasters seems to attract extraordinary people.

Pearson Vue and the Bureau of Education & Testing released their March 2019 Exam Performance Summary numbers for the Florida Real Estate license state exam. The numbers are as bad as they normally are.

It is my opinion that this is on purpose. The questions on the state exam are more interested in tricking test takers into wrong answers than they are on testing the test takers’ knowledge.

This is exactly why The Climer School of Real Estate is the best Real Estate school in Florida. We are the only Real Estate school that teaches our students how to beat and PASS the state exam at its own game. We don’t try to make you an expert in the book. That is our job, not yours. Your job is to pass the state exam one time.

This is also very important to some people. We are fully approved and sanctioned by the Florida DBPR, the DRE, and the FREC as an official Florida Real Estate Licensing School.

I also believe that if the state of Florida and the question writers in Florida Real Estate wanted more people to pass, then more people would pass. It’s a good thing they don’t want more people to fail. I’m sure they can make that happen as well.

First Time Florida Sales Associate Real Estate License State Exam Test Takers

in March 2019, 2,580 people took the Florida sales associate Real Estate license state exam for the first time. 1,307 of them pass and 1,273 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 51 % in a failing rate of 49%.
In other words, the same as usual: horrible.

Second Time and Repeated Florida Sales Associate Real Estate License State Exam Test Takers

2,619 people took the Florida Real Estate sales associate state exam for second or for repeated time. 825 of them passed while 1,794 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 32% with a failure rate of 68%.
This is just downright horrible. How can so many people fail the exam even after they’ve already been through the experience one time? It has to be their school and their training.

First Time Florida Brokers License State Exam Test Takers

258 people took the Florida Real Estate brokers license state exam for the first time in March. 144 of them passed and 114 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 56% for first timers with a failure rate of 44% for first timers.
Again, this is in the normal range. I guess many of them in the 44% did not come to the Climer School.

Second Time and Repeated Florida Brokers License State Exam Test Takers

180 individuals took the Florida Real Estate brokers state exam for second time or for repeated time. Only 75 of them passed while 105 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 42% with a failure rate of 58%.
This is so bad. How can so many people fail the multiple-choice exam? Again, has to be there school choice and their training.
