The August 2015 Florida DBPR Real Estate Exam Performance Summary And Pass Fail Rates

The August 2015 Florida DBPR Real Estate Exam Performance Summary And Pass Fail Rates

The August 2015 DBPR Real Estate Exam Monthly Pass Fail Rates from The Climer School of Real Estate, the Best Real Estate License School in central Florida.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation and their state testing contractor vendor, Pearson Vue, have published their monthly Real Estate Exam Performance Summary. The month of August 2015 is pretty much like all the others.

From August 1, 2015 through August 31, 2015, a total of 3,098 people took the Florida sales associate real estate exam for their first time. 1,652 passed and 1,446 failed. This is a pass rate of 53% and a fail rate of 47%.

2,813 people took their Florida sales associate real estate exam for a second or for a repeated time. A total of 983 passed and 1,830 failed and they had already taken and seen the exam at least once before. This is a pass rate of 35% and a fail rate of 65%.

Why are the Pass rates so low and the Fail rates so high? It is my personal belief that the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (the DBPR) want these Pass - Fail rates. The amount of data in the data pool is very important for statistical analysis and relevancy.

The data base here is very high. Every single month, we have right around a 50% pass rate for those who are taking their sales associate pre-license exam for the first time. Month in and month out we have approximately a 34 to 35% pass rate for those who taking the exam again.

In August 2015, only 250 people took their Florida Real Estate Broker exam for the first time. 152 of them passed and 98 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 61% and a fail rate of 39%.

212 people took their Florida real estate broker exam for a second or for a repeated time. Only 73 of them passed and 139 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 34% and a fail rate of 66%. Again, this is about the same Pass - Fail percentage rate as usual.

It's not the content and information that is so hard, it's that the way that the test and question makers word the questions. Many of the questions are very tricky. Often, it’s not what you know but rather can you beat the test makers at their own game.

The Climer School of Real Estate is The Best Real Estate School in central Florida

Andy Brown, Head Instructor at the Climer School of Real Estate in Orlando, teaches his students that once you are sitting at your kiosk at your Pearson Vue testing center, your textbook knowledge is only half of the battle. Beating the question makers at their game is the other half.

Andy Brown teaches his students his “Proprietary Tricks, Tips, and Techniques” to beat the state exam. This is actually one of the most important reasons why his students continually achieve such outstanding results. There are many other reasons why Andy Brown is considered the best real estate instructor in central Florida.

By the way, the pass fail rates for individuals taking their Florida real estate instructors license exam are not much better.

As an example in August 2015, 9 people took the instructors license exam for the first time. 4 people passed and 5 people failed. This is a pass rate of 44% and a fail rate of 56%.

6 people took the Florida real estate instructors exam for a second or for a repeated time. 2 of them passed and 4 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 33% and a fail rate of 67%.

Are you feeling ready to get your Florida real estate sales associate or broker’s license? Give yourself the best chance that you possibly can of passing the state exam on your first try. The way to do this is to take one of Andy Brown's classes at the Climer School of Real Estate.

Andy loves helping people pass the state exam. That's how he built his reputation and why his reputation is as good as it is. Let Andy Brown and The Climer School of Real Estate help you pass your state exam on your first try.

New "Up And Running In 30 Days!" Class at The Climer School of Real Estate

Get Up and Running in 30 Days with The Climer School of Real Estate

Learn how to Develop Business and Get Closings at The Climer School of Real Estate, the Best Real Estate License School in central Florida.

Up And Running In 30 Days!

The number one challenge facing new real estate agents is how to develop business that will close and earn them money. The Climer School of Real Estate has the class for you. It is our new “Up and Running in 30 Days!” Class.

Our National High Performance Coach gives you 30 Days of personalized attention, mentoring, and training that you need to be successful in your first 30 days. When you are earning money, the real estate business is so much more fun, and that component is critical if you are going to stay around in this business.

There are many areas involved in becoming a successful real estate agent.

1. Your new daily schedule and routine
2. Daily disciplines
3. Generating new contact leads
4. Prospecting for appointments and new customers
5. Scripts to turn leads into new customers
6. Scheduling your time to work with sellers and buyers
7. Balancing your life so that you don’t burn out or ruin important relationships 8. Follow up on past customers

Our National High Performance Coach is going to give you one on one attention in each of these areas for your first 30 days to show you and teach you how to develop yourself and your business. If you do exactly what he says, you should end your 30 day program with deals that will actually close in your pipeline.

What better way to begin your new real estate career than with closing that pay you money in your very first month. Very few real estate agents can say that they did that.

1. Your new daily schedule and routine. You know that you don’t just wake up with a real estate license and suddenly contracts are just magically flying onto your desk, right? It takes work, discipline and commitment. However, it can be done. Success leaves a lot of clues. Setting up your entire day, including when you wake up, is the first critical component to achieving and experiencing massive success.

2. Daily Disciplines. There is a great many actions and behaviors that you need to do every single day on your way to success as a real estate agent. We help you with these.

3. Generating new contact leads. After you talk to every single member of your family and best friends, what then? You must figure out a way to contact people that you do no know and who do not know you, and on a large scale. We teach you how to begin this process.

4. Prospecting for appointments and new customers. There is also a discipline and a process to continually and with purpose, prospecting for appointments and new customers. We teach you the details and how to do it successfully. It still takes your commitment. Consistent results do not happen by accident.

5. Scripts to turn leads into new customers. There are the right things to say and the wrong things to say. Most objections can be predicted. We teach you the beginning of your winning scripts and, how to internalize them. When you talk to a stranger, you need your words to flow, and sound and feel as though they are coming from a confident professional.

6. Scheduling your time to work with sellers and buyers. In the beginning, you will be working with both sellers and buyers, and they each take quite a bit of time, depending on the expectation or the task at hand. Learning how to set your limited and valuable time is critical to your future success. You must be able to set boundaries, and be able say no as well as be able to say yes.

7. Balancing your life so that you don’t burn out or ruin important relationships. It is possible to be very successful in real estate and not work 60, 80, or more hours a week. We want you to enjoy your life and be able to spend quality time with your family and friends as well.

8. Follow up on past customers. The best source of business are your past happy customers. Most agents let these ones go. Most real estate customers can not remember the name of the agent they used even though they would have used them again. We teach you how to set up your systems for automatic follow up that will reap you huge rewards in the future.

Most real estate licensees fail miserably in their first year, and then drop out. Let us help make you one of the positive and happy success stories.

The June 2015 Real Estate State Exam Pass Fail Performance Summary

The June 2015 Florida DBPR Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Rates

The June 2015 DBPR Real Estate Exam Monthly Pass Fail Rates from The Climer School of Real Estate, the Best Real Estate License School in Florida.

Pearson Vue and the DBPR have published the monthly real estate exam performance summary. The month of June 2015 is pretty much like all the others.

From June 1, 2015 through June 30 2015, a total of 2,833 people took the Florida sales associate real estate exam for their first time. 1,519 passed and 1,314 failed. This is a pass rate of 54% and a fail rate of 46%.

2,677 people took their Florida sales associate real estate exam for a second or for a repeated time. A total of 942 passed and 1,735 failed. This is a pass rate of 35% and a fail rate of 65%.

Why is this? and What is going on? I believe that the state of Florida and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (the DBPR) want these pass fail rates. The data base is too high. Month in and month out we seem to have approximately a 50% pass rate. Month in and month out we have approximately a 34% pass rate for individuals who taken the exam more than once.

In June 2015, 194 people took their Florida real estate broker exam for the first time. 131 of them passed and 63 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 68% and a fail rate of 32%.

130 people took their Florida real estate broker exam for a second or for a repeated time. 46 of them passed and 84 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 35% and a fail rate of 65%.

Once again, this is about the same pass fail percentage rates as always. It's not that the content is difficult, it's that the way the state words the questions are so tricky. Andy Brown, Head Instructor at the Climer School of Real Estate in Orlando, teaches his students that once you are sitting at your kiosk at Pearson Vue in the testing center, the content that you know is only half of the battle. Beating the state exam test makers at their game is the other half.

Andy Brown teaches his students his proprietary “Tricks, Tips, and Techniques” to beat the state exam. And he and his students continually achieve outstanding results. There are many reasons why Andy Brown is considered the best real estate instructor in Florida.

And by the way, the pass fail rates for individuals taking their Florida real estate instructors license exam is not much better. As an example in June 2015, 5 people took the instructors license exam for the first time. 2 people passed and 3 people failed.

This is a pass rate of 40% and a fail rate of 60%.

5 people took the Florida real estate instructors exam for a second or for a repeated time. 3 of them passed and 2 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 60% and a fail rate of 40%.

None of these tests are easy or guaranteed to pass.

Are you thinking of getting your Florida real estate sales associate or broker’s license? If you are, then you owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance possible of passing the state exam on your first try. The only way to do this is to take one of Andy Brown's classes at the Climer School of Real Estate.

Oddly enough, those individuals who are trying to get a Florida real state license through mutual recognition and you only have to take it easy on the Florida real estate laws and rules are doing a little bit better but that is better as I think they should be doing. I think at the very least these pass fail rates should be more like what the sales associate and meet broker exam pass fail rates reflect. That's just me.

I love helping people pass the state exam. That's how I built my reputation and why my reputation is as good as it is. Let me help you pass your state exam on your first try. Beware of Distant Learning Real Estate Classes and Hybrid Real Estate Classes

Beware of Distant Learning Real Estate Classes and Hybrid Real Estate Classes

Beware of Distant Learning Real Estate Classes and Hybrid Real Estate License Classes that seem to be popping up in Florida; take your Real Estate Pre-License Class at The Climer School, the Best Real Estate License School in Florida.

There are no such things! Hybrid Real Estate Classes and Distant Learning Real Estate Classes do not exist in the Statutes. You may be placing yourself in jeapordy.

There is a new and insidious Real Estate class offering and there are schools out there that apparently are not legal.

They are advertising and offering what they refer to as “Distant Learning” and “Hybrid” classes. Not online, and not classroom; rather a ‘blend’. According to these schools, you can set your own schedule and according to their advertising, you do not need the full 63 hours.

There is a slight, yet major problem with this. The problem is that this is against Florida Statute 475 and Florida Administrative Code 61-J2.

I would not advertise this for my school as I would be greatly afraid that the Florida Real Estate Commission and or the Division of Real Estate and or the Department of Business and Professional Regulation would shut my school down and fine me and possibly revoke my license.

Andy Brown and Pam Matera in front of the DBPR in Tallahassee

And if I was a student at one of these schools, I would be afraid that my Real Estate license would be suspect and possibly revoked as well. There is no such thing in FS 475 or in 61-J2 as a Hybrid Class or Distant Learning. There are only Classroom and Distance Learning (which is the online courses).

All the Pre-Licenses require 63 Hours.

Here is a direct copy of 61-J2:

61J2-3.008 Pre-licensing Education for Broker and Sales Associate Applicants. (1) Any persons desiring to become licensed as a real estate sales associate must satisfactorily complete the Commission-prescribed course designated as Course I. This course will consist of 63 hours of 50 minutes each, inclusive of examination, in the basic fundamentals of real estate principles and practices, basic real estate, and license law. This rule sets forth the course approval criteria and procedure.

Then there is:

3(b)1. Distance learning necessitates a high level of self-direction and should, therefore, require students to read, conduct research, complete timed exams and similar assignments, designed to measure the student’s competency relative to the required subject matter objectives. Distance learning study must be offered on a classroom hour per classroom hour basis.

FREC Required Pre License Hours

These are highlighted and copied straight from FAC 61-J2. I am not making any of this up.

It is my personal belief that the Division of Real Estate and the Bureau of Education and Testing are NOT happy about these classes. In fact, I was personally contacted and asked if I was going to file a complaint against these schools. While I was not intending on filing a complaint, I did ask how they could get away with that kind of class and what I needed to do to be able to offer the same.

I was very matter of factly informed that they were not legal!

These are some of the reasons why I would be extremely and maybe even overly concerned and cautious before I took any Real Estate Licensing class that stated that I did not have to take the Florida Real Estate Commission prescribed mandatory number of hours.

If I was a real estate pre license student who had taken a class from one of these schools, I am sure that I would absolutely be visiting the Division of Real Estate, 400 W. Robinson, Orlando, Fl North Tower, 9th Floor, free parking or calling them at 407-481-5662 and filing a formal complaint.

I would be extremely upset if after all that time and money, I was told by the Commission or the DRE that my license was being pulled because I had not completed the statutory mandatory pre license hours. Of course, I am not telling anyone else what to do. I just know what I would do.

And I certainly would not refer a single, solitary person to those schools and classes, especially a friend. I would hate to refer them to a school that might be doing something illegal and that might cause them to lose their real estate license.

You do not want to take any chances. Your best bet is to attend The Climer School of Real Estate. We do it the right way. We have a very high state exam passing rate and most people know it.
