The first thing you need to do to get your Florida real estate license is apply to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation at www.myfloridalicense.com . The fee for that is $105.

You have to take a Florida real estate course called FREC course one from a Florida real estate school. You can take this in a classroom. You can also take it online. Online is very convenient. The problem with that is that you usually learn a lot of stuff that you don't need to know to get a Florida real estate license. Do yourself a favor. After you pass the test for FREC course one, you have to pass the Florida real estate exam. This test is given by a private company named Pearson Vue. The fee for this is $31.50 .
