The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has released August's pass fail results for the Florida real estate exam. The new pass rate is slightly better than July.
In August 2013, two thousand two hundred and fifteen applicants paid Pearson Vue $31.50 to try the Florida real estate exam for the first time. They were all high school graduates. They all graduated from a 60 hour basic real estate class at a real estate school. Some of them took this class in a classroom. Some of them took this real estate class online.
Of the 2215 first time test takers, 1025 of them passed. That is a 46% pass rate. That is the best pass rate since the DBPR launched their new Florida real estate exam in February 2013 . At the same time 2529 repeat test takers took their Florida real estate exam for the second, third, forth or fifth time. 798 of these repeat test takers passed. That is a 32% pass rate for the repeaters. You would think the repeaters would do better than the first timers. It costs $31.50 every time you take the Florida real estate exam.
I would think many first timers don't know what to expect. After you have made a fifty per cent on a test you thought you were ready for, you might start looking for some help.
If you are looking for some help, a good place to start is watching the twelve real estate math videos that I have posted on You Tube. If you have already taken the Florida real estate exam, you will recognize these problems. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZb_k4kq9h0&feature=c4-overview&list=UUyBcLU3Ccx-ZxAyemcXWd1w Here is a link to one. There are eleven others. If you are taking the Florida real estate exam soon, you need to watch all twelve of these. They are free. There is no easier way to learn the real estate exam math.
If you want to know if you are ready for the Florida real estate exam, take my one hundred question practice test on my website at www.climerrealestateschool.com . If you have already had the practice test at Pearson Vue ( the one that costs $31.50 ) , they gave you a sheet with a few study suggestions. This is exactly what you need to be studying. This material will be on your next test. If you don't have this sheet, call Kathy at 407 822 3926. She will send you a complimentary copy.
Read your "Candidate's Handbook" It has a breakdown of what is on the exam. If you need a lot of help, call Kathy and ask her about Linda Crawford's " Exam Manual for Florida Real Estate Associates" This is the book that we use at our two day state exam review. Many people call this the cram course.
Linda Crawford is a professor at the University of Florida. Her exam manual is the best study guide to study for the Florida exam. Many people took their basic course at a real estate school from another state. They have been studying material to help them pass a national exam. We don't have a national exam in Florida . You need to be sure you are studying what is on the Florida exam.
If you are anywhere near Orlando, come to my two day state exam review. This is the best way to learn what is on the Florida real estate exam. If you can't make it to Orlando, we have our Florida real estate exam review online. We have it on audio CD. We have it on video DVD. Call Kathy at 407 822 3926 or www.climerrealestateschool.comThis is the easiest way to be on the winning side of the pass fail results on the Florida real estate exam.
