How to get a Florida Real Estate License

The 4 Steps you Need to Know about getting your Florida Real Estate License.

Find out how to get your Florida Real Estate License at the Climer School of Real Estate!

Are you trying to find out how to get your Florida Real Estate License? If you want to get your Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License there are four steps that you have to complete. Eventually you have to complete all four steps but you don't have to do the same time or even necessarily in any particular order. At the Climer School of Real Estate, we have everything that you will need to successfully pass your Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Exam on your first try.

The first thing you have to do is make your application to the state of Florida. Specifically the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Their website is www.MyFloridalicense.com.

You will need to go there and create your own record and fill out their application fill out the background information check, and send in the check for whatever the current these are. At the moment the fees only $89.

If you truly want to get your Florida Real Estate License, It is very important to fill out the questions in the background check as honestly as he possibly can. Whatever it is you think you've done is not as bad to the Florida Real Estate Commission as not telling them what happened. If you have ever been convicted of a crime found guilty of anything, plead guilty to anything, or plead no contest anything, you have to let the state of know on your application.

The second thing that you have to do is get your fingerprints taken. Your fingerprints must be taken by an entity who is authorized to take fingerprints for the DBPR and who will send them to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, or the FDLE, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, or the FBI. Once received the FDLE and the FBI will perform a criminal background check on you and send the results to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

The third step you must take is to sign up for an approved 63 hour sales associate pre-license class such as the one offered at the Climer School of Real Estate. You can find out more about our classes at www.ClimerRealEstateSchool.com.

You'll take a 60 hour class with a 3 hour class exam. You have to pass the class exam with a 70% or 70 right out of the 100 questions. When you achieve this you'll be given a course pass certificate.

The fourth and final step you must take to get your Florida real estate sales associate license is to register for and pass the state of Florida real estate examination. These test are administered at Pearson Vue

Once you have completed steps one and two you will receive an email from Pearson Vue giving you an access link to create your test record. This will allow you to sign up for a testing slot. You'll be able to sign up for a Pearson Vue test slot before you have even taken your class however you will not be allowed to take the state exam until you have not only taken the 63 hour pre-license class but have passed it successfully and have your course has certificate in hand.
