The Statistics
So,
Pearson Vue, the Bureau of Education & Testing (BET), and the Florida Division of Real Estate (
DRE) released the Exam Performance Summary numbers for the Florida Real Estate license state exam for all test takers for August 2019. The numbers are dismal as usual.
If you know me, you know that I think that this is ridiculous. The pass percentages should be higher. It’s a very unfair system. I believe that the question writers for the state exam seem are more interested in tricking you into a wrong answer than they are at testing your actual knowledge.
This is exactly why The Climer School of Real Estate remains the best Real Estate school in the entire state of Florida. Your job is to pass the state exam one time.

Do Not Go To A School That Is Really A Competing Brokerage
More importantly, We also are not a COMPETING BROKERAGE! This is critical. I recommend thinking twice before going to a real estate school that is connected with a Brokerage. They are not as good at teaching you what you need to know to pass because they are a real estate sales company. They just want you to sign with them.
Any Broker that has a real estate school is only using it as a recruiting tool. Let them do what they do: Real Estate. Let The Climer School of Real Estate do what we do: teach students how to beat and pass the state exam.

I also believe that if the state of Florida and the question writers in Florida Real Estate wanted more people to pass, then more people would pass. It’s a good thing they don’t want more people to fail. I’m sure they can make that happen as well.
First Time Florida Sale Associate Real Estate License State Exam Test Takers
In August 2019, 3,406 people took the Florida Sale Associate Real Estate license state exam for the first time. 1,740 of them passed and 1,666 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 51% in a failing rate of 49%.
Unfortunately, This is normal.
Second Time and Repeated Florida Sale Associate Real Estate License State Exam Test Takers
3,424 people took the Florida Real Estate Sale Associate state exam for second or for repeated time. 1,128 of them passed while 2,296 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 33% with a failure rate of 67%.
This is just downright depressing. Why do so many people fail the exam even after they’ve already been through the experience one time? It has to be their school and the way they are taught.
First Time Florida Brokers License State Exam Test Takers
266 people took the Florida Real Estate brokers license state exam for the first time in August. 150 of them passed and 116 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 56% for first timers with a failure rate of 44% for first timers.
Again, this is in the normal range. I guess many of them in the 44% did not come to the Climer School.
Second Time and Repeated Florida Brokers License State Exam Test Takers
241 individuals took the Florida Real Estate brokers state exam for second time or for repeated time. Only 78 of them passed while 163 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 32% with a failure rate of 68%.
This is so bad. How can so many people fail the multiple-choice exam? Again, has to be their school choice and their training.
If you did not read this blog last month, Pearson Vue, the Bureau of Education & Testing (BET), and the Florida Division of Real Estate (DRE) also released their Mid-Year Calendar statistics from August 2018 through August 2019 Exam Performance Summary numbers for the Florida Real Estate license state exam. I will repeat it this month so that you may review it.

First Time Florida Sale Associate Real Estate License State Exam Test Takers August 2018 to August 2019
From August 2018 to August 2019, 37,773 people took the Florida Sale Associate Real Estate license state exam for the first time. 15,530 of them pass and 16,243 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 49% in a failing rate of 51% for a full 12 months.

Second Time and Repeated Florida Sale Associate Real Estate License State Exam Test Takers August 2018 to August 2019
From August 2018 to August 2019, 34,209 people took the Florida Real Estate Sale Associate state exam for second or for repeated time. 10,437 of them passed while 23,772 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 31% with a failure rate of 69% for a full 12 months.
This is pretty. All of these people failed the exam again and they had already been through the experience one time. It is probably their school and their training.
First Time Florida Brokers License State Exam Test Takers August 2018 to August 2019
From August 2018 to August 2019, 2,812 people took the Florida Real Estate brokers license state exam for the first time in August. 1,706 of them passed and 1,106 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 61% for first timers with a failure rate of 39% for first timers for a full 12 months.
This is now considered the normal range. I bet that many of them in the 39% did not come to the Climer School.
Second Time and Repeated Florida Brokers License State Exam Test Takers August 2018 to August 2019
From August 2018 to August 2019, 2,253 individuals took the Florida Real Estate brokers state exam for second time or for repeated time. Only 841 of them passed while 1,412 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 37% with a failure rate of 63% for a full 12 months.
