A Florida Time Share License, How To Get One

     The first step to getting a Florida time share license is to apply to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.  Their website is www.myfloridalicense.com . .  You can apply online.  The fee for that is $105.  When you apply for your Florida time share license, the  DBPR does not call it a time share license.  They call it a Florida real estate license.  In Florida, time shares are considered real estate.  You need the same license to sell a time share that you need to sell a house, a Florida real estate license.  Go to the DBPR's website and apply for a Florida real estate license.  It will take about two weeks until you are approved if you have no criminal background.

     The second step to getting a Florida real estate license so you can sell time shares in central Florida is to take a basic real estate course called FREC course 1.  You can take this class online.  You  can take it in a classroom.  We believe a classroom is better but many people can not fit this into their schedule.  At Climer School of Real Estate , we offer day classes, night classes and online real estate classes.  You have to take this class somewhere.
