Between January 1st and June 30th of 2013, , nine thousand five hundred and sixty seven Florida real estate license exam applicants took the Florida real estate sales associate exam. Three thousand eight hundred and eighty five passed. They all paid $31.50 for the experience. Forty one per cent of these first time test takers passed.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation reported that eleven thousand three hundred and eight people took the Florida real estate sales associates exam for the second or third or fourth or fifth or sixth time. We call these people repeat test takers. Three thousand three hundred and ninety two repeat test takers passed. That is a 30% pass rate. This is the news from the DBPR for the first six months of 2013. Thirty one dollars and fifty cents was paid by all of these repeat test takers every time.
If you are planning on taking your Florida real estate exam soon, you need to study. You need to study the right stuff. You need to study what is on the Florida real estate exam. The Florida real estate exam is not like other state exams. In many states they have a state exam and a national exam.
If you took your basic online real estate course from a school that teaches for a national test, welcome to Florida. The Florida real estate exam is just for Florida. If you did not take your basic real estate school from a Florida real estate school, you better start studying Florida material.
A good place to start is to watch the twelve free real estate math videos that I have posted on You Tube. Ten per cent of the Florida real estate exam is math. You might as well get 100% of the math correct. If you watch and pay attention to these free videos, you can get one hundred per cent of the math right. How did you do on the math last time? Why You Failed The Florida Real Estate Exam The First Time
You will probably fail it when you take it for the second time. Do you know the Florida Real Estate Exam given by the Florida Real Estate Commission is difficult. The pass rate is fifty two per cent for first time takers. That means, if you are taking the exam for the first time, you have a 52% chance of passing. Half of the people pass. Half the people fail the first time. Repeaters do not fare quite so well. Thirty four per cent of people taking the test for the second time pass.
Did your instructor tell you the Florida Real Estate Exam is difficult? Did you believe him? Think back to your Florida real estate pre license course. Did you take it on line? Did you choose your school based on price or did you check out their reputation? Was it a Florida real estate school? Did you concentrate and try to understand the concepts? Did you take the test honestly or did you use your notes?
If you took the course in a classroom, did you work at paying attention? Did your instructor seem to know what was on the Florida real estate exam? Did he teach you that? Did you take notes on things he told you was on the Florida real estate exam? Did he teach you a bunch of stuff that was not on the exam? Did you read the book? Did you answer the questions at the end of the chapters? Did you answer the hundred questions at the back of the book? What did you make on that test?
