Exam Performance Summary

As the school owner, I receive the Pearson Vue, Bureau of Education and Testing Division of Real Estate’s Monthly Exam Performance Summary every month.

For many Real Estate license test takers the news is still bad. The Passing rates are still low, and the Failure rates are still high. The only good news is that testing numbers are back up as they dropped down to ridiculously low numbers during the beginning of the COVID-19 Quarantine. You can verify these numbers on the DBPR and DRE website, www.myfloridalicense.com .

These numbers just continue to reinforce my beliefs that the state exam question writers are more interested in tricking test takers into a wrong answer than they are in testing their knowledge.

If it were up to me, this would change. But it is not up to me so I cannot. I continue to work with what they give me. However, this is the main reason why the Climer School of Real Estate is so much better than all the other real estate schools in the state of Florida. We are the only Real Estate school and class in Florida that teaches our students how to beat the state exam at its own game, not just to be an expert on the information in the book.

The August 2017 Florida Real Estate State Exam Pass Fail Numbers and Total License Numbers Report

The August 2017 Florida Real Estate State Exam Pass Fail Numbers and Total License Numbers Report

As expected, the Pass Fail rates for the Florida Real Estate state exam are exactly what is expected.

Here are the new pass fail statistics for August of 2017 from The Climer School of Real Estate, the best real estate school in Orlando.

The Climer School of Real Estate is the Best Real Estate School in Orlando

In August of 2017, from August 1 to August 31, 3,588 people to the Florida real estate sales associate state exam for the very first time. Of that number, 1,840 of them passed the exam and 1,748 of them failed the exam. This is a passing rate of 51% and a failing rate of 49%.

3,660 people took the Florida real estate sales associate state exam for a second time were for a repeated time. Of this number, 1,175 of them passed and 2,485 of them failed. This is a dismal passing rate of 32% and a failing rate of 68%.
This pass fail ratio is the same as it always is. I believe it again proves my point that the powers that be within the state of Florida are more interested in tricking real estate exam test takers and they are in testing their knowledge. And I believe this proves again that they are very good at tricking test takers into wrong answers.
296 people to the Florida real estate brokers license state exam for the very first time. Of this number 184 than passed and 112 of them failed. This is a passing rate of 62% and a failure rate of 38% 203 people took the Florida real estate brokers license state exam for a second or for a repeated time. Of this number 84 of them passed while 119 of them failed. This is a passing rate of only 41% and a failing rate of 59%.
Again, this is about the same as it always has been.
I do not know how much the total number of real estate licenses in the state of Florida increased from July 1 2017 through July 31, 2017. The Florida Real Estate Commission and the Division of Real Estate cancelled the August meeting due to Hurricane Irma.
I have written about the Certified General Appraiser license exam results. I believe we are having a problem in the very near future. 34.1% of sales associate licensees are inactive in some way. If they all became active at the same time, this would really change the market picture. You better have a good marketing plan in place and you better be working it.
You may be interested in knowing that in August 2017, only 1 person took the Certified Residential Appraiser license examination for the first time. One person passed and zero people failed LOL. Apparently not many people want to take this examination.
Only one person took the Certified Residential Appraiser’s license exam for a second offer repeated time. One person failed and one person passed.
The appraisal community is losing appraisers. The number of certified registered trainees has decreased from 541 in November 2016 down to 505 as of June 2017. There were 231 in active registered trainees in November 2016. This number has decreased to 157 in June 2017. There were also 422 involuntary inactive registered trainee’s licensees November 2016. This number has decreased to 371 in June 2017.
We added 8 new licensed Real Estate Instructors. We don’t necessarily need new real estate instructors. What we need are good instructors. So many of them are bad, very bad. They think that if they get a real estate instructors license, they can make easy money teaching a mandatory real estate course. It is the students who get screwed.
What do you think will happen regarding these statistics? I wish I knew. However, keep following my blog and I will keep you updated and status as soon as I get new information.
Don’t forget, due to circumstances regarding Hurricane Irma, the Florida Real Estate Commission, The Division of Real Estate, and the Bureau of Education and Testing have moved the September 30th 2017 renewal deadline out to October 23rd 2017. This is especially important for those of you who must have your mandatory 45 hours of Post Licensing in place now! Do Not Delay! Get your Post 45 class or your Continuing Education in Now. You do not want to lose your license because you forgot to take the class.
Stay positive!

The April and May 2017 Pearson Vue Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Performance Report in Real Estate

The April and May 2017 Pearson Vue Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Performance Report in Real Estate

Thoughts from Andy Brown, the Best Real Estate Instructor in Central Florida at The Climer School of Real Estate, the Best Real Estate School in central Florida

I know I have not posted a blog in a few months so I wanted to let everyone know about the April 2017 in May 2017 Florida sales associate and real estate broker pass fail Exam Performance Summary report from Pearson Vue. This is the report that is given at every monthly Department of Business and Professional Regulation DBPR, Division of Real Estate DRE meeting to the Florida Real Estate Commission FREC. It is also exactly the way it has been for months and months. Here are the numbers:

In April 2017 2656 people took the Florida real estate sales associate examination at Pearson Vue for the very first time. 1330 of them passed and 1326 of them failed. This equals a 50% passing rate and a 50% failing rate.

2708 people took the state exam for a second or for a repeated time. Only 835 of them passed while 1870 failed. This is a 31% pass rate and a 69% fail rate.

In April 2017, 205 people took the Florida real estate broker exam for the very first time. 110 of them passed and 95 of them failed. This is a 54% passing rate and 46% failing rate.

188 people took the Florida real estate broker exam in April for a second or for a repeated time and only 61 of them passed while 127 of them failed. This is a 32% passing rate with a 68% failing rate.

Again I do not think these ridiculously low pass rates and high failure rates are an accident. I believe this is what the state of Florida wants.

In May 2017 3017 people took the Florida sales associate real estate license exam for the very first time. 1598 of them passed and 1419 them failed. This is a 53% passing rate with a 47% failing rate.

2776 people took the same exam for second or for a repeated time. Only 881 of them passed while 1895 of them failed. This is a 32% pass rate and a 60% fail rate.

253 people took the Florida real estate brokers license exam in May 2017 for the very first time. 146 of them passed while 107 of them failed. This is a 58% pass rate and a 42% fail rate.

219 people took the same exam for a second or for a repeated time. 95 of them passed and 124 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 43% and a failure rate of 57%.

These general statistics seem to be the same month after month after month. I have said many times, I don’t think this is accident, I think this is on purpose. I believe that if the state of Florida wanted more people to pass, then they would pass. We are all very lucky that Florida doesn’t want more people to fail because I believe they can make that happen.

It’s no secret that I believe that the examination focuses more on tricking you into wrong answers than it does on testing your actual knowledge. Additionally, they seem to force-feed you in your pre-license class information that is extremely unnecessary out there in real world and inn your real estate career and profession. However, you are tested on it so I have to teach it to you.

So, here’s the challenge faced with new applicants: how do you sit through an unbelievably boring 60 hours class containing some of the driest and most boring material that exists while you are being force-fed with a firehose information that is only necessary one time to pass the state exam and that pretty much goes away from you soon as you pass your state exam?

The best answer is to come to the Climer school of real estate. If you look at our hundreds of five-star Google reviews, five-star Facebook reviews, and five-star Yelp reviews you will come to understand that we do things differently. We teach our students to pass the state exam. And we don't intimidate our students into giving us a good review just before they take their class test as one school infamously does. If you’re going to trust the school with your time and money to help you prepare for a life changing and career changing moment, you want to make sure that you are making the right decision.

There are a lot of low quality real estate schools out there that I can mention by name that only want your money or they view their school as a recruiting opportunity for their real estate company. This is not the Climer school real estate operates.

We don’t have an on-going, operational real estate brokerage, we are not trying to recruiting you, and were not trying to get every dollar we can from you. Our only concern is to help our students pass the Florida real estate exam, hopefully your first try. This is the focus of all of our amazing instructors; Lydia Pisano, Barbara Stone, and Jose Rodriguez.

Are you thinking about getting a real estate license and career change? Now is a fantastic time. Don’t waste your time and money. The best chance that you can give yourself of passing your Florida Sales Associate Real Estate Sales Associate License state exam or your Florida Brokers Real Estate License state exam on your first try is by attending The Climer School of Real Estate 407-822-3926 (EXAM)

The Florida DBPR's Monthly Real Estate Exam Performance Pass-Fail Performance Summary

The Florida DBPR Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Rates

The April 2015 DBPR Real Estate Exam Monthly Pass Fail Rates from The Climer School of Real Estate, the Best Real Estate License School in Florida.

The Climer School of Real Estate in Orlando is the Best Real Estate School in Florida

Once again, Pearson Vue has published its monthly real estate exam performance summary. The month of April 2015 does not have any surprises.

From April 1, 2015 through April 30 2015, a total of 2,585 individuals took the Florida sales associate real estate exam for their first time. 1,333 passed and 1,252 failed. This is a pass rate of 52% and a fail rate of 48%.

2,788 individuals took their Florida sales associate real estate exam for a second or for a repeated time. A total of 977 passed and 1,811 failed. This is a pass rate of 35% and a fail rate of 65%.

What is going on? I still say that the state of Florida and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (the DBPR) want these pass fail rates. The data base is too high. Month in and month out we seem to have approximately a 50% pass rate. Month in and month out we have approximately a 34% pass rate for individuals who taken the exam more than once.

In April 2015, 175 individuals took their Florida real estate broker exam for the first time. 94 of them passed and 81 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 54% and a fail rate of 46%.

174 individuals took their Florida real estate broker exam for a second or for a repeated time. 70 of them passed and 104 of them failed. This is a pass rate of 40% and a fail rate of 60%.

Again, this is about the same pass fail percentage rates as always. It's not that the content is difficult, it's that the way the state words the questions are so tricky.

Andy Brown, Head Instructor at the Climer School of Real Estate in Orlando, teaches his students that once you are sitting at your kiosk at Pearson Vue in the testing center, the content that you know is only half of the battle. Beating the state exam question writers at their own game is the other half.

Andy Brown teaches his students his proprietary “Tips, Tricks, and Techniques” to beat the state exam. And he gets great results. There are good reasons why Andy Brown is considered the best real estate instructor in Florida.

And by the way, the pass fail rates for individuals taking their Florida real estate instructors license exam is not much better. As an example in April 2015, seven people took the instructors license exam for the first time. Four people passed and three people failed. This is a pass rate of 57% and a fail rate of 43%.

12 people took the Florida real estate instructors exam for a second or for a repeated time. Four of them passed and eight of them failed. This is a pass rate of only 33% and a fail rate of 67%.

Are you thinking of getting your Florida real estate sales associate or brokers license? If you are, then you owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance possible of passing the state exam on your first try. The only way to do this is to take one of Andy Brown's classes at the Climer School of Real Estate.

Oddly enough, those individuals who are trying to get a Florida real state license through mutual recognition only have to take it only on the Florida real estate laws and rules. They are doing a little bit better however, that is what I think they should be doing.

In April 2015, 45 people to the Florida real estate laws and rules exam for the first time. 28 people passed and 17 people failed. This is a pass rate of 62% and a fail rate 38%.

Another 23 people took this exact same exam for a second or a repeated time. 12 of them passed and 11 of the failed. This is a pass rate of 52% and a fail rate of 48%.

While this is a little better, first I think it should need much better. Second I think at the very least these pass fail rates should be more like what the sales associate and meet broker exam pass fail rates reflect. That's just me.

I love helping people pass the state exam. That's how I built my reputation and why my reputation is as good as it is. Let me help you pass your state exam on your first try.

The March 2015 Florida DBPR Real Estate Sales Associate and Broker License Pass Fail Exam Performance Summary

March 2015 Florida Real Estate Sales Associate State Exam Pass Fail Performance Summary

The March 2015 Sales Associate State Exam Pass Fail rates are still abysmal. If you want to give yourself the best chance at passing this exam on your first try, then you need to take your Florida Real Estate Sales Associate 63 Hour Pre License Class at The Climer School, the Best Real Estate License School in Orlando.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) of Florida published the March 2015 Real Estate Exam Pass Fail statistics based on the results of the statewide performances. As usual, the numbers leave a lot to be desired.

March 2015 saw two thousand, five hundred, and eighty three prospective real estate sales associates taking the real estate exam for the first time. Only one thousand, three hundred and eighty five passed or fifty four percent. One thousand, one hundred, and ninety eight failed or forty six percent. This is a teeny bit higher than last year’s averages. Last year the pass rate was consistently between 48% and 52% and the exam failure rate was between 48% and 52%.

In March 2015, two thousand, five hundred and twenty eight people took their Florida Sales Associate Real Estate Exam for a second or for a repeated time. Out of these, eight hundred and seventy three passed the exam, or thirty five percent and one thousand, six hundred and fifty five failed it or sixty five percent. This actually is about the same percentages as last year. Only 168 people took their Florida Broker’s Real Estate Exam for the first time. An astonishing 63% passed or 105 of them. 63 failed the exam, or 38%. This is an unusual statistic. It is not typically that high of a first time pass rate.

March 2015 also saw one hundred and eighty three licensees take their Florida Broker's License exam for the first time. Of this number, one hundred and ten passed, or sixty percent (60%) and seventy three failed or forty percent (40%).

Another one hundred and sixty two took their Florida Broker's License exam for a second or for a repeated time. Only sixty five passed or forty percent (40%) and ninety seven failed or sixty percent (60%).

It is not an easy thing to pass Florida's Sales Associate or Broker's License Real Estate Exam much less on the first try. If you want to give yourself the very best chance of passing on your first try, then you need to enroll in one of the classes at The Climer School of Real Estate. January 2015 Florida Real Estate Pass Fail Exam Performance Statistics

The State of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) released their January 2015 Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Performance Summary. Once again, it was kind of dismal.
The January 2015 Florida Real Estate Exam Performance Summary

In January of 2015, a total of 2,150 individuals took their Florida Sales Associate Real Estate Exam for the first time. 1,123 passed or 52%. 1,0277 failed or 48%. This is absolutely right on the mark. Month-in and Month-out, the pass rate is between 48% and 52% meaning the fail rate is also between 48% and 52%.

2,606 took their Florida Sales Associate Real Estate Exam for a second or for a repeated time. Of this number, only 928 passed or 36% and 1,678 failed or 64%. This is also right on the mark every single month.

Only 168 people took their Florida Broker’s Real Estate Exam for the first time. An astonishing 63% passed or 105 of them. 63 failed the exam, or 38%. This is an unusual statistic. It is not typically that high of a first time pass rate.

30,024 took their Florida Sales Associate Real Estate Exam for a second or for a repeated time. Of this number, only 10,226 passed or 34% and 19,798 failed or 66%. There must be a reason for this.

Florida Real Estate Exam Pass Fail Results For The First Six Months of 2013

Between January 1st  and June 30th of 2013, , nine thousand five hundred and sixty seven Florida real estate license exam applicants took the Florida real estate sales associate exam. Three thousand eight hundred and eighty five passed.  They all paid $31.50 for the experience.  Forty one per cent of these first time test takers passed.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation reported that eleven thousand three hundred and eight people took the Florida real estate sales associates exam for the second or third or fourth or fifth or sixth time.  We call these people repeat test takers.  Three thousand three hundred and ninety two repeat test takers passed.  That is a 30% pass rate.  This is the news from the DBPR for the first six months of 2013. Thirty one dollars and fifty cents was paid by all of these repeat test takers every time.

If you are planning on taking your Florida real estate exam soon, you need to study.  You need to study the right stuff.  You need to study what is on the Florida real estate exam.  The Florida real estate exam is not like other state exams.  In many states they have a state exam and a national exam.

If you took your basic online real estate course from a school that teaches for a national test, welcome to Florida.  The Florida real estate exam is just for Florida.  If you did not take your basic real estate school from a Florida real estate school, you better start studying Florida material.

A good place to start is to watch the twelve free real estate math videos that I have posted on You Tube.  Ten per cent of the Florida real estate exam is math.  You might as well get 100% of the math correct.  If you watch and pay attention to these free videos, you can get one hundred per cent of the math right.  How did you do on the math last time? Our user name on You Tube is Climer School. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZb_k4kq9h0&feature=c4-overview&list=UUyBcLU3Ccx-ZxAyemcXWd1w  Here is a link to one of the twelve free real estate math videos.  It is very difficult to pass the Florida real estate exam if you can't get the math.

The other ninety per cent of the Florida real estate exam information can be learned in Linda Crawford's " Florida Real Estate Exam Manual" .  This little book was written by Linda Crawford, a professor at the University of Florida.  If you are studying real estate material from another state, call Kathy at 407 822 3926 and buy Linda's book.  You need it.

This is the book that we use at Climer School of Real Estate when we teach our two day Florida real estate exam review.  We call this the state exam cram course.  This is a class that we teach for our students.  Most of our customers for this cram course are not our basic class students.  They took their basic real estate class at some other real estate school.  About half of our students don't take this class.  The other half leave our basic class and go pass the Florida real estate exam.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQkyITKFtrc   Here is a link to one of those students at the test center telling us a little about the Florida real estate exam.

If you are taking the Florida real estate exam soon, we have this review class live in Orlando.  We have it on audio CD.  We have it on video DVD.  We also have it on line.  You can download it right to your own computer.  Check it out at our website at www.climerrealestateschool.com

If you are taking the exam soon and you want to know if you are ready, here is the easiest way to find out.  Go to Climer School's website and take the one hundred question free real estate exam practice test.  If you don't pass that test, you will not pass the Florida real estate exam .  Mine is free.  Pearson Vue charges $31.50 for every practice round.  Also there are four practice tests in Linda's exam manual.

If you want to pass the Florida real estate exam given by Pearson Vue, here is what you need to do:

Watch my free real estate math videos.
Do my free practice test at www.climerrealestateschool.com
Get Linda Crawford's "Florida Real Estate Exam Manual" from Kathy at 407 822 3926
